Services · Hands-on Training
Hands-on training gives people practical experience and essential skills in a real-world setting, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and actual application.

We're your partners in learning. Our hands-on approach, combined with our experience and vendor relationships, is there so your team gets guidance and support, not only a shipment.
Sessions are built around the materials your crew will actually handle. Tell us whether the work is inside the building or out on the route, and which products are on the job.
Training is arranged with the office. It is not a certification program listed on this site, and a session is confirmed with you before anyone is scheduled. When the office publishes a date, it is listed on the training page.
Practice with the fiber, hardware, or premise products the crew will use, instead of a slide deck alone.
Guidance draws on the manufacturer relationships Rivers Connect already uses to supply those materials.
Tell us who is coming and what they need to be able to do on the job.
Ask about training when you request a quote or place materials, so the session matches the list.
Broadband and fiber crews, including inside plant and outside plant contractors. Tell us the job and we will match the materials, or the training, to that work.
People who install and maintain broadband and fiber and want practice before the next build.
Teams working premise, rooms, and indoor cabling who need time with those materials.
Route crews who handle aerial and underground materials and want the same hands-on approach.
When someone is new to a product line you already buy, ask the office about a session on those items.
The main office is in Van Alstyne. The warehouse is in Paradise. Each location keeps its own stock, and a fulfilled order is pulled from the yard you choose.
Step 1
Call the Van Alstyne office or send a note. Name the materials and whether the job is inside plant or outside plant.
Step 2
The office replies with what the session will cover. Nothing is assumed until that is agreed.
Step 3
Use the time on the materials. When you are ready, shop the catalog or send the list as a quote.
Ask the office. The company works from the Van Alstyne office and the Paradise warehouse. The location for a session is part of what you confirm.
The published description is practical, hands-on experience. This site does not list a certification, a class length, or a diploma.
Use the training page to request a session, or call (817) 764-5590. Say which materials the crew will handle.
Shop the catalog, send a quote request, or call (817) 764-5590.
